LIQUID NOISE

OUR STORY

Liquid Noise was established by Lionel Hicks in the 1990s as a music production company. Lionel produced many internationally released albums and was responsible for setting up several recording studios in the late 90s. Liquid Noise was the production vehicle for many of the productions recorded at the studios.

 

In 2004 Lionel Teamed up with U.S. music producer Todd Fitzgerald and opened the successful Winterland Studios in Minneapolis USA facilitating many Liquid Noise music productions, as well as the studios, also working with artists such as 'The Black Eyed Peas, Lenny Kravitz, Alanis Morissette, Elvis Costello, Jessica Simpson, R Kelly, James Blunt and Keane to name but a few.

 

In 2006 Liquid Noise made the transition to film production. Notable credits include the Vampire Horror TEMPTATION (Winner of Best British Horror 2010 by Gorezone Magazine). ALMOST MARRIED a feature-length comedy that was the Winner of Best Feature Film at the Marbella International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Comedy at the UK National Film Awards 2015. UK television rights were acquired by ITV. Sci-fi thriller SCINTILLA (AKA) THE HYBRID released worldwide the same year and I AM NOT A SERIAL KILLER starring Christopher Lloyd (Back To The Future) which was filmed in the USA and has won10 International film awards to date.

 

Liquid Noise continues to produce music, including recent collaborations with Biff Byford of Saxon and Music Producer / Guitarist Andy Sneap of Judas Priest producing the worldwide released album“The Scintilla Project The Hybrid”. This album was a concept album inspired by the feature film also produced by Liquid Noise 'Scintilla aka The Hybrid. 

 

In 2019 Liquid Noise established another production vehicle “BIG BAD FILMS” to facilitate music videos and feature film productions the company is lead by Toby Jepson (established music producer and recording artist ) Jay Hillyer ( cinematographer ) and film producer Lionel Hicks.

 

Since 2011, Liquid Noise has also focused on film financing and production across all genres. The most recent production was "THE INFERNAL MACHINE" starring Guy Pearce and was released theatrically worldwide by Paramount Pictures in late 2022 / 2023
